3 years to 4 years

 

Welcome to Preschool 3! You and your child are about to start an exhilarating year filled with fun, friendship, and discovery. The daily activities in our room will be structured around the Creative Curriculum, with an emphasis on routine and experience, through which we hope to create an atmosphere that encourages and supports each child to develop and grow as unique individuals.

 

We focus on the Four C's of the Preschool 3 room: confidence, cooperation, curiosity and communication.

 

We will aid your child in developing a high self-esteem, a willingness to collaborate, a thirst for learning, and knowledge of expressing oneself. Below is a list of goals for us as teachers to help assist your child's development of the Four C's:

• Value your child's ideas

• Promote teamwork and problem solving

• Provide your child with adequate opportunities for their creative expression

• Encourage your child to express themselves appropriately

 

Your child will focus on the Four C's through their experiences during play. Play is important work that helps your child grow, learn and investigate the world. The following goals will help your child through play:
